A Warehouse ‘Catch-Up’

Students:
Bar Etedgi, Omri Fox, Shachak Gil, Sagi Taizi, Tomer Tsachor
Supervisors:
Shai Guendelman
Description:
A system to help storage managers to keep track of warehouses and their inventories. A major part of a factory is its warehouses and an accurate knowledge about the warehouses’ inventory is an important ingredient in factory's profitability. Gathering this information manually to fix inconsistencies and have a better record of the inventory is challenging and may lead to more inventory errors Our solution uses automation to tackle inventory recording. We do this by attaching a component to a moving vehicle that scans the shelves of a factory to determine the presence of a box in a shelf or not, using this information the solution processes the goods present in the warehouse and presents this information to the worker.
